Jeff Reed (Owner): Jeff is an Indiana native & a graduate of Indiana University w/ a degree in Finance and a member of Sigma Chi fraternity. Before that, he worked in his family’s construction firm, building homes and commercial buildings. He has owned Carmel Kitchen Specialists since the summer of 1975, designing and selling cabinetry for our clients’ remodeling and new home construction needs. He has overseen the growth of the business with tremendous pride since this time. His personal interests include golf, IU basketball and football, pro football (Colts) and many other sports. Most of all, he enjoys his family, friends, coworkers and his many business associates.

Jenny Collins (Designer):  Jenny is an Indiana native & a graduate of Ball State University w/a degree in Interior Design & Marketing.  She’s been a designer since graduation working in a high end tile & stone showroom as well as with a custom home builder.  She joined Carmel Kitchens in 2008 as an interior designer.  She previously won the “Gold” in the Indianapolis Monthly Home Design Awards Category for Best Bathroom.  Her goal is to develop a personal relationship with all of her clients while working together to create a beautiful as well as functional space for them to enjoy with their family & friends.  Her personal interests include volunteering with children at the Art with a Heart Program, jewelry design & spending time with family & friends.

Kelly Rich (Designer):  Kelly is an Indiana native & a graduate of Purdue University w/a degree in Environmental Design & Building Construction.  She has over 15 years experience in designing and selling kitchens & baths with over 12 years @ Carmel Kitchen Specialists.  She loves her job and really enjoys a design challenge.  She feels one of the most important aspects of each new job is to listen to the customers wants & needs.  It’s important to her that the finished product will provide her customers with a beautiful space that also functions to fit all of their needs as well as their budget.  Her personal interests are spending time with her family & close friends.  She enjoys cooking for them and experimenting with new recipes.  She’s not much of a sports fan, but proudly watches her daughter play college basketball.  She also volunteers for a local art association.

Abby McGuire (Designer):  Abby was born and raised in Carmel, Indiana. She graduated from Indiana University in 2008 with a degree in Health Administration and was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.  After graduating, she moved to Chicago for four years in her early twenties, working in the healthcare industry. Her true passion for interior design brought her back to Carmel to work at Carmel Kitchens with her Dad (Owner, Jeff Reed) for 5 years.  From 2017-2019, Abby and her husband moved to Amsterdam, Netherlands for her husband's job, and spent that time traveling the world. She is back living in Carmel and excited to bring new and fresh ideas to her work. Her other passions include photography, traveling, entertaining, being active, and spending time with family and friends. 

Installation Staff:  Jan Richman joined our company in 1981 & started as an installer and worked his way up to become the company’s Operations Manager.  He manages a top notch crew of talented in-house installers that have been part of our team for several years.  Our installation staff includes Dave Shockley who joined our team in 1987, Rob Gordon in 1994, Paul Gist in 2006.  Our experienced, skilled and dedicated installation staff’s main goal is to strive for 100% customer satisfaction…installing your beautifully designed rooms with craftsmanship that exceed your expectations. 

Office Personnel:  Wendy Jasinski who has a strong customer service focus & attention to detail joined our team in 2018 as the Office Manager/Bookkeeper.  Ewa Jeffrey our talented draftsman has been drawing beautiful, intricate designs since 1997 and Jessica Clock who joined our staff in 2003 is an efficient expediter handling all of our ordering needs.  Carmel Kitchens takes pride in all of our talented & dedicated staff members who have been part of our family/team for several years.
